The IPMS Nederland adheres to the "General Data Protection Regulation" (AVG) for all EU countries.
<A> Privacy and protection of personal data
IPMS Nederland has and processes personal data as a modeling society. We would like to inform you about the protection and processing of these personal data.
<B> Why IPMS Nederland processes personal data
Personal data are necessary for the following purposes or services:
Enrolling as a member of the IPMS Nederland and thus also handling, for example, (contribution) payment.
Providing services to the member of the association (such as the sending of our IPMS magazine in Dutch "Modelbouw in Plastic");
For possibly informing you as a member about interesting model building activities.
For your participation in IPMS events after you have signed up.
<C> Personal data that we process
The personal data that IPMS Nederland may store and process are:
First and last name, gender, address, telephone number (fixed and / or mobile), any e-mail address. Furthermore, for a limited number of applications, your birth year and (bank) account details (for your desired direct debit) can also be recorded.
Only personal data that you have provided to us when you enter into your membership or when you are a participant in an IPMS event will be processed.
<D> Persons under 16 years
IPMS Nederland can not check whether personal data relate to someone younger than 16 years. If applicable, the legal representative must ensure that the IPMS Nederland is aware of this when providing data.
<E> Share with others
IPMS Nederland shares your personal data (name, e-mail address and telephone number) exclusively and ONLY WITHIN IPMS Nederland with a limited number of known employees. In most cases, this concerns your name and e-mail address details for a contact moment.
For the provision of IPMS services by Third Parties, it may be necessary for a designated Third Party to have your name, address and place of residence (for example, the printing and distribution of IPMS Nederland publications). IPMS Nederland has specific agreements for safeguarding your personal data with each designated Third Party in a Service Agreement.
We never share your personal data with Third Parties for commercial purposes.
<F> How long we keep data
IPMS Nederland will not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the objectives or services. After termination of your membership, your data will be destroyed within 6 months.
<G> View, modify or delete data
You have the right to request a statement of your actual personal data from the IPMS Nederland. You can send your request to the Secretary of IPMS Nederland.
<H> Security
IPMS Nederland takes the protection of your personal data seriously and has taken appropriate measures. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please submit a genuine request and contact the IPMS Nederland Secretary immediately.

IPMS Nederland uses a number of technical facilities on the internet:

All the IPMS Nederland secure website systems run in the back-end on servers in The Netherlands. IPMS Nederland also facilitates an internet discussion forum at TAPATALK with their servers running in the United States of America.

The language at this forum is Dutch so for english speakers not very relevant. Messages on this forum can be read publicly and anonymously via the internet.
If you want to participate in the discussions yourself, you must register as a participant. You are requested to register under your own name with a contact e-mail address for the forum administrator. Under no circumstances will additional personal data be requested to be stored in an administration.
Publishing information yourself on the discussion forum is your own responsibility. It goes without saying that IPMS Nederland strongly advises NOT to put / write any personal sensitive data on the discussion forum.
The internet discussion forum can be analyzed externally. This can be done by web robots, web crawlers, etc. This is outside the span of control of IPMS Nederland.
If you do have a complaint or request about personal data regarding the discussion forum, you can contact the Secretary of IPMS Nederland.
**** Something about Facebook with an IPMS Nederland group (Social Media)
The IPMS Nederland has an "open group" on the social medium FaceBook. Most messages are in Dutch language.
Participation in FaceBook is the responsibility of the person as a member of FaceBook itself. IPMS Nederland and its internet employees do NOT manage personal data here.
IPMS Nederland has no further influence on the administration and technology of Facebook. Realize that your surfing behavior is / can be technically followed for commercial purposes by Facebook.
Obviously IPMS Nederland strongly advises NOT to put/ write any personal and privacy sensitive data there. You can read Facebook's terms and privacy statement yourself on the Facebook website.
<J> Contact details and requests
You can submit requests and questions about your personal data to the Secretary of IPMS Nederland. IPMS Nederland will respond to a genuine request in due time but no later than eight weeks.

<K> Statement of Approval
This privacy statement from IPMS Nederland is part of the "Reglement Persoonsgegevens" as approved by the President and Board of IPMS Nederland.
