The Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer was developed as a Short Take-off and Landing utility transport. First flight was June 1955 and some 87 were built. It was used by the Royal Air Force, several foreign air forces and by civil operators.
Twin Pioneer C.C.1
This Twin Pioneer C.C.1 is a RAF military version and coded XL993 has a desert camouflage scheme. It is on display at the RAF museum at Cosford.

Plastic scale models are 1/72 vacuforms from Magna Models, Combat kits and an injection moulded kit from Valom. Welsh has a 1/144 kit.
